I was always a huge fan of Jarvis when he was at LSU and since. My son was all about OBJ, but Juice was the guy I always pulled for - class act, tremendous football player, and tremendous young man.

I was lucky enough to know Jarvis, and Mya, (Mya better than Jarvis). The guy is a beast on the field and a truly great person.

The CF Foundation is making a difference. They partnered with a drug company and produced a revolutionary drug for many CF patients. My daughter being one of them. Her lung function went from 72% to 101% and all CF issues (cough, sinuses and GI issues) have been arrested. We are close to whipping this disease. We really are...

Sherman, good luck to your child. I grew up with two brothers in the late 80s early 90s and they both passed. I remember being a kid being so upset seeing them cough all the time and then ultimately passing. It brings me joy reading this article and the news you posted about the new treatments. I wish you the best.

My daughter gets a bad cough and it breaks my heart, but lasts a few days. I can't imagine how it must feel to have one with CF. I wish all of you and yours the best.

Big ups to Juice for pushing the fight.
