I'm sure he cares.

I personally hope he goes high.

First off, I have no problem with a grown man making his own decisions.

But let's just get this straight: that's an Audi A7, and modestly equipped it runs about 70k before sales tax.

:lmao: Think about it this way, If he's a top half of the 2nd round draft pick, and he stays his full four years, he will make anywhere between 5.4 and 7.8 mill. The low end of 5.4 mill would be 108k a year in salary over 50 years. Now I know you have to take into account inflation, investments, tax bracket, style of living, etc, but a guy with a decent head on his shoulders would never worry about a bill. He doesn't have to pay back tens of thousands of student loans, he won't have to pay back home loans, he won't have to lease a car. His life and his children's lives should be pretty carefree if he invests some of it.

Think about it this way

Its great to think about it that way but odds are is that he will be broke shortly after his nfl career is over.

People arent in here dogging the guy like some are making it out to be. People are dogging the decision.

Like someone said though, the car was apparently given to him by the dealership.

You consider that a smart move??? no wonder this country is full of literally broke dicks.

Who said I'd do it? I only meant that it's really no different. I've seen people with between 45k and 60k salaries buy BMWs, Lexus, and Benzs. It's their money and they do what they want. You are continuing to pull more out of my writing than what is there.

He's in line to get at the least, a 2 mill signing bonus

Say what? To get a $2 million signing bonus, he'd need to be a high 2nd round pick. I absolutely love Landry, but I doubt he's going that high.

Third round picks get signing bonuses in the $500k range.
Fourth round gets $400k.
Fifth round gets $200k.

You used it as a way to justify a bad decision. The only way to read what you posted. People can do what they want with their money - that is true. That doesn't change the fact that they and Landry IMV make bad decisions.

And I've read one post claiming the car was "loaned" to Landry by the dealership. If that is indeed the case and little or no money came out of Landry's pocket then I retract everything I've posted as I misunderstood.
