Yes, I have heard elsewhere that he has been dismissed from the team, but I have not confirmed this rumor. We're both prolly wrong and this is much ado about nothing since we don't have in excess of 15,000 posts, the benchmark for legitimacy.
If true, this will stink mightily and I hope we can sign another big time OT this year to replace him.

What I don't understand is - it may be a "rumor" but you heard it somewhere (ie. The old lady at the grocery store). Just say WHERE you heard it and not just THAT you heard it and a lot will be cleared up, believe me.

Sonny is dropping the rumor too.
Says he is in Texas and not taking phone calls. Does it mean he is off the team...no, but it doesn't look good.

It was from a poster on another board that is normally reliable. That doesn't make it any less or more true but I think it is more than just a random post. And no, I'm not talking about that assclown on TigerBait (mikeatiger or whatever).

if sonny's reporting it, it's not unsubstantiated
that is unless you require a person associated with the team to publicly comment, and well hell all rumors are unsubstantiated almost because les and company rarely make public comments on current situations until it gets TOO hot
