Jarrett Lee was the man!!

Now that we are years down the road, and see what a stagnant offensively minded coach we have, we can appropriately reflect on JLs tenure at LSU
'07) The kid came to us as an Elite 11 QB
'08) He was thrown in with woefully inadequate prep. Miles was completely unwilling to make changes from the Russell/Flynn offensive to help JL succeed. Also, Miles' decision to hire his buddies as co-DCs was huge in forcing Lee to always having to play catch-up
'09) As Miles is known to do, Lee was subjected to the doghouse for his performance. Miles would rather lose 4 games, than call on Lee
'10) And even tho he spent a year in the doghouse, JL was up to the task when Miles had no choice but to call on him against Tenn, Fla, and Bama. An admission by Miles of the skills JL possessed, because Miles knew he was firmly on the hot seat if he ends the year with 5 losses
'11) With only a weeks notice, Lee stepped in. He got the ball rolling on the only undefeated season under Miles. Yet when it was obvious that Bama had successfully schemed for LSU in the BCS game, Miles yet again showed that he was incapable of recognizing required change. The only team in BCS history not to score a point, and Miles made ZERO adjustments
And as we saw once again last Saturday, QBs are not afforded the opportunity to improve because Miles system has changed to limit the involvement of the QB. Yet Lee still improved under that system. He went from the year of multiple pick 6s to the 2nd longest streak between interceptions in LSU history, and ESPNs All-SEC senior team QB

No he wasn't.
After what we've seen from Miles over the years, you can never blame a QB for what they did. Because Miles really doesn't know what they are capable of doing

Miles is not a very good offensive minded coach

Because I was sooooooo wrong about Miles' inability to develop a QB, all those years ago

Lee was awful.
He was so awful that JJ was clearly the better option, and JJ was terrible.

Stopped here because you are dead wrong.
you guys sit here saying other programs can have rsfr play well. So him being young isn't an excuse.
He's a Jimbo recruit and supposedly ran a Jimbo offense with Russ and Flynn. So why wouldn't it work with Lee?
The defense sucked because the qb broke a record for pick 6. No one else has given the other team that many points ever.

There is no judging a QB in a Les Miles system, because Miles does not have the capacity to use or develop them appropriately
Chavis was spot on about Les. The defense was expected to win games, because since '09 Miles has played scared

And for that we can credit the man, Jarrett Lee.

Look, there is no possible explanation for 4 freshman QBs having success last weekend, yet we failed to develop 4 QBs with years in the system, other than the head coach doesn't make adjustments for his QB here.
I watched other teams make changes to build their freshman QBs confidence and they were successful! In one game!!
This is on Les for putting a ridiculous amount of pressure on his QBs to "execute" in a predictable, one-dimensional scheme, destroying their confidence and his confidence in them.

You do know Lee was basically 4th string while Jimbo was here, and rarely saw 1st team snaps, right?

I met him a few times. Nice guy. Well spoken. Good ole boy

Back pedal, back pedal, heave it blindly, for another interception; but he was white.

You do know the op said Les tried to run the offense they did with russell and Flynn rt? You do know who gets credit for that rt? It sure isn't Les.

Seems like a lot if contradicting bullshite if you ask me is all.
Les has failed recruiting QBs outside of Mett. No need to make shite up.

Lee was never here with Jimbo. Jimbo just recruited him.

Really?
Wasn't RP the starting QB?
And then wasn't Hatch the starting QB?
And wasn't Lee asked to come in only after Hatch was hurt. Multiple times?
And yet Miles had this 3rd string QB throwing the ball around like he was JR or MF? And you think that's on Lee?
