IMO, if i was told by the scouts that i had that many holes in my game, i think id go back to school and try to fix one or two of those issues before jumping to the NBA.

the problem Martin will face is that he really doesnt have one thing that he does dominant that he can lean on as a young NBA player. sure hes really athletic but thats not really a "basketball" skill and doesnt produce success on its own.

was about to say no way is Jarell 6'7.5"

If he is then Mickey's barely 6'6". Possible that they used Mickey's stats in that instance. Martin looks every bit of 6'9" in shoes.

I don't even understand what this means. My point, that you were responding to, is that coaches must demand effort and intensity from their players. And it's part of a coach's job is to figure out how to get that maximum effort from his players. Different players need to be handled differently, as some respond better to the whip and others respond to a softer touch. In large part, it's psychological. And good coaches know how to do this.

of course you don't understand what it means.

It means, you can demand all you want. If you don't have a player on the bench to take his spot, what do you do? you play malone 40 minutes to teach him a lesson? then you get fired for losing. John C. can sit his stars on the bench to teach them a lesson or "demand" excellence because he has other stars.
