The only problem with your analysis is you equate every hit as equal.


Foster is slugging .632 whereas Robertson is slugging .270.


It might only be 1 hit every four games, but that hit might be a 3 run homer, as opposed to a bloop single.


I'm not against Robertson at 2nd. I havent made my mind up yet. Just pointing out the flaw in your argument.

He has the worst slugging % on the team outside of Robertson (amongst everyday or almost everyday starters).


He is not a power hitter and does not need to be batting cleanup imo.

I think he's in there for the "potential " to get big hits.
Problem is it ain't showing up.
