What are you guys expecting from this group this year?

If they continue to develop, this could be one of the best DT rotations in college football. At least 3 of them should be really good. Guillory developing into something would be lagniappe.

I say watch out, SEC.

Fully expect Smith &Roy to be one of if not the best duo in country.

And the backups are good. So yea, that’ll be a strength

Could? The d line as a whole is the biggest strength on the team.

Should be, Roy and Guillory were both sought after 4* 2019 and expect the whole squad to perform well with Maason and company.

Interestingly, I’m seeing a lot of mock drafts for next year with Roy in the top 10. Didn’t know he was that well known. I think he’s been underrated. Should be an excellent interior DL for us.

You’re forgetting Ali Gaye and BJ Ojulari. Elite D Line.

I think he surprises people this year. He can eat double teams all day and leave our other DL 1 on 1.

M.Smith is far better than the rest of the DL. I like Roy, hope he can be an every down player. Guillory is huge so it works that we are headed back to a 3-4 style where he can play NT.

We really need a pass rushing force with Ojulari and whoever secures his backup spot to be able to let M.Smith and Roy get one on one's.

I think Smith could be a 1st team All American but I don't know if we have anyone else with his upside yet until they show it.

If our entire DL is not a huge strength, we're screwed.

On paper, the group looks as good as we’ve had in quite some time. I’d even throw Bryce Langston in the mix. Keeping those guys fresh will help keep them healthy over the course of the season.

Maason Smith is an Tank DEs guided as a person, and I was Super high on Roy. I think he explodes this year.

Can’t pretend I am Not excited about Seeing what BJ Smith Roy and Gaye can do with a competent DC

Would have been nice to have "Apu" Ika, a certain All Big-12 preseason player, rotating in and out on that DL.

Maybe underrated for college football fans but scouts know exactly who the guy is.

Can't say I've seen those but I loved the kid for LSU/NFL from day one.
Didn't really see the break out I expected last season.
I've got a big picture of Roy/Maason pushing in shite right up the middle. Can't wait!

He's another I loved from day one. His feet are ridiculous for a man that size - textbook stuff.
He and Shelvin were easily top 5 in the country NT position rotation.
