James Franklin question

curious how the board feels about James Franklin.
I am not a fan of Herman, Fisher, Fedora, etc, but Franklin is a guy that I have always thought was a good coach.
Would be difficult at this point to pull him away from Penn St. though.
(Edit: this isn't about firing O. Just a discussion on Franklin)

My personal thoughts on Franklin is that he coaches PSU ... a bunch of pedophile enablers and sympathizers ... and all of them can go to hell.

Dude's a self promoter prick. Live in Nashville, and experienced him at Vandy. It's about him. While impressed by his ability to turn around programs into winners in a short amount of time, e.g. Vandy and Peen St, time will tell if he can sustain it. He left the cupboard bare at Vandy. His personality grates on nerves.

What else do you want to know exactly from Tiger fans?
Why the hell would he go anywhere else? Like it or not, he is coaching at the highest level in college football. The only way up from this point is the NFL.
Anyway, LSU is a premiere program, yes, but there are a few others on a higher coaching level:

USC
Texas
Ohio State
tier-2
LSU
Michigan
Penn State
Florida
Florida State

Interesting Franklin story I’ve told on here before, but I’ll tell it again.
Have a buddy in Nashville who is a UT-Knoxville grad. He was sitting on his porch having a beer on a Friday afternoon. He flies an orange and white Tennessee flag on his house. A Mercedes sedan with blacked out windows pulls into his driveway and out pops James Franklin.
Walks up to my buddy and introduces himself and says “I drive by here on the way to and from work all the time and always see this flag. What can I do to make you a Vanderbilt fan?”. My buddy said “You just did, except for when they play UT (paraphrase)”.
Now THAT is some door-to-door politician vacuum cleaners salesmen shite. But I respect the game, he really did have the Vanderbilt fan base on fire while he was here.

LSU fans are delusional. We are not the type of program that can pull a successful coach away from another power 5 program such as Penn State.

Typically ... you pull some shite like that in SEC Country ... you're asking to get shot at worst, or the living shite kicked out of you at best.
Lucky for him ... he was asking on behalf of Vandy...whom no one really takes seriously.
