He was targeted very few times against OK...just wondering why considering the season he's had. I know we have a lot of weapons in our arsenal but thought it was a bit odd

Did you watch the game? Jefferson had 4 by himself. No need

You think that possibly OU decided they were going to double Chase, which left Jefferson open all night.

It really wasn't odd. Teams picked their poison. He attracts a lot of attention. Frees up other guys

Oklahoma schemed to stop Chase. Bracketed him and shaded help to him.

I thought it was because OU put their best DB on him. No need to force the issue when Jefferson and Marshall are just as capable of making plays.

Oklahoma put everything they had into guarding him. Hence why Jefferson went off. With the talent we have at WR teams have to pick their poison.

Jesus Les, LSU doesn't look for an opponent's strength and try to attack it anymore.

Now they go after their weakness. Okay, got it?

From my view he was doubled teamed a lot!

OU picked their poison and Jefferson killed them.

Jefferson could’ve had at least 2 more. I think Joe decided he’d had enough.

This obviously wasn't the sole reason but Joe was upset at the lack of recognition Justin Jefferson received despite his outstanding stats.

Might have caused him to look for Jefferson a bit more but like previously stated Jefferson appeared to be ground zero for mismatch coverage.

OU tried to take him away and JJ went off.

This isn’t t complicated.

Because we were on pace to score 100 points at halftime throwing to other players. Were you in a coma during the game?

They bracketed him with a safety over the top the whole game, which is why JJ was running free all night. Then when they doubled JJ, Moss was running free.
