Good luck big man. All those who bashed him over the years need to GTFO and stay TFO

Why? He was a frick-up who realized he needed to take his job seriously to succeed. It happens. Now that he has his head on straight people want what's best for him. Nobody wants to support a self entitled person. Even if he doesn't make a team, I now respect him and his work ethic for busting his arse. It's hard to respect a man who is given so much opportunity and piss it away. He's learned from his mistakes.

And we all know how that will make him a great quarterback.

I'm pulling for him but any pro athlete who's been out of the game for 3 yrs has a long road ahead of him. It's not just the weight loss that he's had to fight through. He's also lost a lot of reaction timing, the overall speed of the game ability, ability to read defenses, etc. That stuff does not just come back on with a flick of the wrist. And he won't have the best offensive line to support him, either. Just ask Cutler.

I just watched the Sugar Bowl against ND...I forgot how effortlessly he flicked the ball downfield. Definitely rooting for him.
