Just curious... what reason would Jamal have to stay his senior year? Projected top 5 pick already proved himself as an elite safety

The only reason would be to try and win a championship.

I'd actually be disappointed if he stayed. He's in a fantastic position to be drafted early and reassert the DBU title.

Then again... who holds a press conference to announce they're going to the NFL?

You can only play college for so long and he's a superstar who is absolutely loved on campus. When he jumps to the NFL he'll start off as just another guy and not many guys are able to get superstar treatment at the next level. He might be having a ton of fun in college and would like to have one more year to enjoy his football experience. As a fan I'd love for him to stay, but the smart move is to go to the NFL now and not risk losing millions.

I'm sure that is what Alabama people say when they return first rounders for their senior year, or that Stanford qb that was the #1 overall pick, luck. If he comes back, I'll be glad to have him. End of discussion, and yes he is likely gone, but I always love those that know what he will do as if it is fact.

What is the rookie contract? Can't he get Insurance like LF had? What if he gets hurt his first year in NFL and never gets that second contract? What if he ...........point is some of you it is comical how smart you think you are when in fact most of you are 20 years old and still pretty damn dumb.

There's plenty reason for him to stay.
I think he's gone though.

I hear that those bama guys stay cause they can't take the pay cut of a rookie 1st rd draft pick. My attempt at humor, not a fact. I think Adams is gone but if not, it will just add to his outstanding sec career and gain even more respect from tiger fans. Wish him the best no matter what.

He's not going in the top 5. Top 10 is probably a reach right now too.

It is just kind of comical. It is like these kids are hoping he goes pro so they can brag more about all the former Lsu players in the NFL....meanwhile bama always returns a few that likely could have gone first round...all those guys returning this year is a large part of why our d was so good...yes aranda is good..but you can't quantify what experienced talent means. These kids just blow my mind...most have not made even $10k a year, yet they have all the answers.

Yes he should totally pass up millions of dollars to satisfy a bunch of fans. Every poster here would do the same...

Seriously, you have major problems. You really do. Your iq isn't nearly as high as you think. I haven't seen anyone saying anything like you have said. Most are like me.....if he goes I wish him well, if he stays, I welcome him back. It is funny other schools get too players to return, but at our school, we have a group like you that knows it all and has all the answers and is leading a campaign to make sure he goes pro. Please don't respond to anymore of my posts and I'll do the same for you. You sure know how to shite on a thread.

FYI, the insurance is only for career ending injuries, meaning if you take the policy, you can never play football again. It does not cover injuries that you can recover from, that just screw up your draftability. Fournette may well drop a few spots, and Beckwith will likely drop a few rounds because of their injuries. No insurance policy covers that scenario.

If Jamal gets hurt in his first year and doesn't get a second contract anyway, it's better that he got money earlier based on the time value of money.

What else?
