Ratings aside he did a good job. And the pool of starting freshmen at CB is pretty shallow I would imagine.

Even his hs coach was surprised he was starting so soon for us. Mills was 3* on scout and rivals 2* on espn.

And tyrann was never #1 player in state by any of the services. He was a 3* when he committed in july of 2009. dodnt get up there til later. And scout and espn had him as a 3*. Rivals was only site to give him a bump.

So yes tyrann was a 3*

You guys should do research before you post bullshite.

Dude stepped up and made everyone start throwing at Simon. Wasn't it supposed to be the other way around? He's the stud shutdown corner of the team, because he rarely misses tackles and always makes the open field tackle. In my opinion, besides Minter he deserves the defensive mvp award.

There was a poster on here last year, around this time, that said his brother-in-law was the db coach at Baylor or something like that and had recruited mills.

He pretty much said mills was a huge sleeper and would be a beast before he left LSU. I don't remember his name but he was spot on.

He said the coach told him mills was the best db in LSU's class

He played very well this year. I give him credit.

He can only get better!

And the best part is he plays with that Peterson and Mathieu type of swagger that we have grown so accustomed to seeing.
