Said he's taken reps opposite of Tre White & really surprised this camp since he's appeared to have shaken off the "sophomore slump".
Also says Robinson has been taking reps with the 2s.

Some of the rumors are that Robinson Is/was having academic issues, BUT I'm not sure if that's the case so I won't use that..
Is it possible that Collins straight out beat him out for the 2 job?? If you remember, he wasn't too bad his freshman year and was actually pretty impressive IMO. Last year was a bit of a drop off but is it possible that's why he passed him up? Or are they working him with ones as a precaution for Robinson's off the field issues if the rumors are true?

Good for him. Collins was somewhat forgotten coming into this season so reports that he's had a great camp is good news for the defense.

robinson did not get "beat out"
if he doesn't start it's because of grade issues. he's the best corner on the team.

Read it again. Sounds like a situation of some sort. Won't know more til Saturday.
Maybe...Collins got good enough for miles to discipline RR for something that is potentially wrong. Who knows.

I've always liked Collins, I really want him to succeed. If he steps up this year, it'll solidify himself in the draft and will be a prominent corner. Good luck Collins, go get it!

He really started busting his arse on special teams about halfway through the season when I thought he's just transfer. He's developed into a leader and I'm excited to see him grow in that capacity, even if he never picks off another pass.

All reports are that Collins had a fantastic spring and fall practice. I don't think he plays instead of RR, but he will be on the field plenty.

I said that earlier this week and got blasted. But it is what it is.
Robinson had some work to do in the classroom, and did it. But in the process, he missed a lot of fall camp. Collins took advantage.
