Forgive my ignorance, which I am sure some of you won't, but I can not remember Gore getting into any game so far. Is there something wrong with him or has no opportunity in the coach's mind presetned itself for him to get in? He certainly had credentials when he got here; plus, I thought he had a good spring game.

Haven't seen much of him since his fumble in NW State game

ETA: Yes, he has seen some action

He's played a few plays only. He's 5th on depth chart basically.

Apparently, "Smacker" dropped a plastic container of peanut butter at the house, so Les shipped her off to Florida, and the Nick Bollettieri swimming academy.

Les does not put up with the dropsies.

I hope he stays around. The fact Magee has passed him up might have him looking elsewhere, but he can really play and is a weapon in the open field.

But in order for him to get serious PT, we really need to try to utilize him as a hybrid RB/WR.

See Mike Ford playing time as of lately

I did think that Gore would have gotten a chance in the return game

How can you not love this board? You post a question, and in 17 nanoseconds, you get an answer. The only problem is that you have to wade through the weird, funny, or cynical many to get through to the one which sounds to be at least a little correct. Good God, I love this board and the ensuing insanity that it engenders.

Ware has fumbled and he was taken out in the first game vs. OR. Miles = Fumbles = Dog house.

Ford only fumbled to himself, and has been banished to the hinterlands.

There is clearly something else going on here that we do not know. If anyone does, please let us know.

I like Ford too, but Miles mentioned Ford's mishandling of the hand off from JL in his news conference last week.

Can Gore take a redshirt? The fact that he was in street clothes could mean a medical redshirt upcoming. I know he has played, but you have seen this before where they get a medical redshirt after playing a few games

I remember another poster saying that Gore had gotten into a yelling match with Frank Wilson after Wilson got in his grill about fumbling against NW. This is just hearsay, but this is what I saw on TD.
