One of my favorite tigers of all time. I'm sure he will be a great help with the development of our players on and off the field. Welcome back

quote:

Justin Vincent, the former most valuable player of LSU's BCS Championship Game win over Oklahoma during the 2003 season, enters his first year as assistant director of player personnel for the Tigers in 2012. As assistant director of player personnel, Vincent will have an active role in the off-the-field development of LSU football players. A native of Lake Charles, La., Vincent returned to LSU last fall after a four-year stint in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons. Vincent won a Super Bowl title as a member of the Steelers in 2008. Vincent graduated in the spring of 2011 with a degree in communications studies.

That sounds great. Would be my dream job besides NFL career if I was a former Tiger.

Obligatory he was a big disappointment, wtf happened to him, he sucked after being awesome statement.

Good for him. Glad to see a former Tiger return to the team in any capacity.

Just out of curiosity, why?

He had 5 great games in a legendary stretch at the end for that 03 team his freshman year, but after that both Alley and Addai and eventually Keiland outworked and outperformed him the last 3 years of his career IMO.

Regardless, congrats to JV and welcome back!

Good for him. He made some decent money on practice squads for about 5 years and was very well liked by the Steelers org. He should be an asset for LSU.

So he's gonna show them how to handle going to bogies and Fred's every night without missing a beat? Sweet!

Wife(no pics)went to the Lady Tiger 101 camp and he was helping Wilson with the RB group. Saw us at Superior after and had a nice chat with him. Nice guy. Never forget being in the Dome watching him bust out that first run vs. Oklahoma, great to have him back. :obligitory CSB:

Maybe he was brought in to teach them how to enjoy the night life without kicking people in the head and getting in bar room brawls

JV has been back and from what I understand was getting his arse handed to him because of the TM7 situation.

Yeah, he already worked for the athletic department last year in some position. I saw him at several basketball games.
