Couples should have sex during football season so they won't have kids who have b'day parties during football season.

In my humble opinion (as a father of two), kids b-day parties and the social drama associated with them has gotten out of hand. No one should EVER feel obligated to the party of any kid but his or her own. People have lives and b-day parties are not akin to weddings or funerals. Send a gift. Go to the ballgame!

Ok, you can see that I have some strong feelings on this issue!

in addition to the problem, I was going to take my sister in law but she is the godmother so there is no way she is getting out of it, so I guess i'll have to go to the party, in that case i'm headed to work on Saturday and I'll just show up late

Amen brother. Everyone wants to have a party better than the others and expects everyone to come to it. I know someone that has several kids two of with have bdays in the same month, they had two parties within two weeks of each other. Why not do it all at once? Its BS.

you have a point, just because I invite you to my kids parties, doesn't mean you have to drop everything you are doing just to come

Definitely go to the game. The baby's never gonna know or remember that you're not there and sure you may piss some people off but since they're not even your blood they'll just have to get over it. In-laws never come before Tiger football.
