Those program players that Paul had and jay inherited are not there he’s got time ! The transfer portal is hit or miss ! He’s got some young talented guys they will come around next year he had to replace a lot of those older players just is what it is ! Had 3 pitching coaches in 3 years that’s not his fault ! Now he won’t have to worry about replacing a pitching coach I do t think yetski just forgot how to coach pitchers ! It takes time !

Due to playing time find one guy that is consistent behind the plate milazzo when he plays consistently has done well me personally I’d keep him in he seems to have some leadership but if he’s not playing it’s hard to be consistent Neal is consistently been bad behind the plate and at bat ! Try something else jay must have something on Neal don’t know what but he has been consistently bad ! Jay has to swallow it because Neal has been bad !

This is the ADs guy he’s not firing him!! Especially because he won a title ! Just not going to happen! He would have to be consistently bad year in and year out this is his first bad year !

Odd.
You didn’t make one post about LSU’s NC run last year.

You even posted about other things but not that.

it's 2024 and there's a transfer portal. Johnson coaches at LSU. who's fault is it that these allegedly faulty players are on the roster at the #1 college baseball program in America?

It's his. But I don't think any other college coach in his position would have jettisoned young guys after one year. These are guys who were offered seven figures to forgo college. Some of the best talent evaluators in the business thought they were worthy of a seven figure bonus because they had a better chance than most to develop into big leaguers hitters.

So are you saying Jay “bought” chicken shite instead of the ingredients for chicken salad? He recruited the roster.

If you listen to what CJJ is really telling us, there’s a ‘drive, heart, commitment’ issue in a few of the sophomores / transfers we have that last year was present in Beloso, Skenes, Dugas, Crews, et. al.

He basically called out Kling, Frey, Neal & Pearson when he was discussing the drive and desire to get better exhibited by Milam and Larson on Monday night’s show.

They lost alot of key players: Crews, Skenes, Floyd, Coop, Thompson, Tre, Dugas, Beloso, Jobert

You just named 2/3 of your starting lineup and your 3 most impactful pitchers, 2 of which were your starters.

I think the issue is pretty easy to see.

It's not that we don't necessarily have talent. There's very little experience on this team. This is what happens after you win a championship with a veteran team.

Holy run-on sentence! Use periods for God’s sake. You could injure us with this post.

Are they getting paid millions to put a winning product on the field?

But I’m starting to wonder if he’s panicking…. I really think he’s a great coach. But I can’t wrap my head around what’s going wrong with this team.
They lost alot of key players: Crews, Skenes, Floyd, Coop, Thompson, Tre, Dugas, Beloso, Jobert….. just to name a few…

And I get that… but why is this team SO bad?
I think a lot of guys expected to step up hasn’t… Maybe it’s more of a club problem, not a coach problem? Idk I’m just trying to make sense of this season.

Hes prob panicking a little, but not for his job or anything, he just wants to make everyone happy and win....

I think they have an entitlement problem. I see no toughness with this team... alot of pre-madonnas alot of selfishness.. you can tell.

I think they will be better next year... get some portal hitters, i think a few wont be asked back... you got tons of pithcing...
