how bout they run a few plys where both QB's are on the field at the same time. Lee at QB and Jefferson lined up next to him. Imagaine the options LSU would have. You can run the read option, maybe even have Jefferson throw form the formation. If youre gonna use two QB's, i say lets get creative. but Lee should be the starter. Hes earned the job. Every scoring drive last night, aside from the first, was led by Lee. If anything, Lee should be upset that he doesnt get to finish what hes started. But hes a class guy and is a team player and doesnt care who scores, as long as LSU scores. Geaux Tigers and heres to LSU being 7-0 after next week for the first time in a long time!

No, it's clearly NOT working.

Jefferson did not lead us to a single touchdown, cost us 7 points with a bad interception, and missed an open fly pattern that most SEC quarterbacks can make.

Not to mention 2 of his completions hit the hands of UF defenders before our players caught the ball.

Then one of the completions was the horrible throw to RS that killed any chance of us getting a TD before the half.

Jefferson should only play when we are in the redzone or trying to milk the clock. Lee is MUCH more capable of actually moving the team down the field.

Uhhhhh

6-0 and 4-0 in the SEC. We must be doing something right.

Standard rebuttal........

People need to understand that when an argument is made about a phase of LSU's game that is not up to par, it does not mean that the person making the argument is not happy with the record. There is nothing "negative" about what I am about to say, but some will perceive it that way b/c Im not just sucking off Les Miles b/c we got a W in the swamp. Which, by the way, I'm thrilled about!

Fact is, as usual, the game was closer than it had to be and too close for comfort, really. Lots of us see obvious ways that LSU can become DOMINANT instead of just pulling games out on the last play. If you can't see that Lee is far and away superior to Jefferson, then you are simply not paying attention to the game. Yes, Jefferson played ok.... I'd say average, at best. He does bring a running threat to the table and I do think they should use him in a Tebow/Perrilloux type package.

But, J Lee made just about every throw last night and has looked much better than Jefferson every time he's gotten the chance. The numbers don't lie.

J Lee should be our starter and our main guy with Jefferson doing spot work and the occasional goal line series
