Im ready for a change. I was ready for Jimbo or whoever. However admitting that we looked better gameplan wise and execution wise means you can see the obvious. This doesnt mean you have a Les Miles fat head. This doesnt mean you didnt want Jimbo. No one will question you here. This is a safe space.

Texas Tech is the second worst defense in the country. Dont let beating a bad team in a crap bowl game fool you

One thing that is a fact on this board is that people hate being wrong. Some hate Les Miles so much that they can't enjoy wins because it would make their opinions incorrect. That is what you are seeing on here.

You don't sound like a negatiger.

More like a neutratiger.

Why does getting beat by a good team get you all worked up then?

I want to see last night's performance against a November opponent. We won't get same yards/points, but we need better execution.

We ran the pistol more times this game then we did the entire season.

On the scoreboard people were saying that "dont be fooled by Harris' inflated stats from screens". ISNT THAT WHAT WE WANTED??? Everyone complained about only having deep routes and low percentage plays. There was change.

LSU has the talent to be a good team. Instead we get our asses handed to us by Arkansas and Ole Miss

Im not saying the team didn't look good last night, they did. I just think the opponent had A LOT to do with that. TT blows

While I agree, denying the polar opposite is also true is shortsighted.

I agree. However while 56 points is hard to argue against, I would've liked to see more formations and schemes within the power run game philosophy than what we saw. I love the style of offense we have, I just wish we could be a bit more multiple to keep a defense worth a darn on their heels.

eta. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that we actually executed a screen, thank the lord

And more often than not, LSU still struggles on offense, no matter how bad the other team is on defense. Last night wasn't one of those nights.

I said it earlier this morning... I've been critical of Miles and don't like the hardcore Miles fans on here, but that team looked different on offense, especially in the second half where the offense usually goes full retard.

Glad they got the win, defense was in attack mode, and hopefully the team is more competitive against their strong opponents next year... If they are, it could be a special year. If we get a repeat of this year, Miles should be let go.

Let's hope they have a special year.

Lol you were the one trying to call people out

You're so fricking dense that you can't see that folks can be critical and still happy to see the team play well

There's no middle ground with you

So do you not agree that we made a decent amount of changes-> short quick passes/screens. Pistol. A decent amount of 1st down shotgun 4 wides?

So are the negas officially moving on from the "we always play down to the competition" crying? Because that narrative has disappeared in the last 12 hours.

Good question

Beefense, you've said it was the end of the Miles era

Enlighten us on what you and the rest of us were proven wrong last night?

Last night was a nice in and LSU played well.

That is it.

It is fool's gold to think that last night was anything more than a talented LSU team beating a terrible defense in a bad bowl.
