I keep seeing folks post "oh, well I had us at 3-4-5 losses so this was to be expected". Did y'all also expect us to flat out shite the bed against bama and just not show up at home against Arkansas even when we still had things to play for? I don't get this mentality of "well we knew we wouldn't win it all this year" so nbd.

JUST SHOW UP AND PLAY!

I really think the team was up and ready to play. I think it was just more of a confidence issue. "Are we actually good?" I think the players were doubting themselves on Saturday, and then the shitty quiet crowd didn't do anything to help matters either. Then add to the fact that Arkansas is a very good team and Bert always has his guys super motivated to play, and you get the result we got.

I certainly don't think Arkansas is 17 points better than LSU at this point in the 2015 season, but they beat our arse on Saturday for sure.

Not only that the wins are often very frustrating and an offense that is just plain hard to watch.

They are teenagers. You want to beat them?
I'm still pulling for them. Whether they are under coached, under motivated or whatever the issue is, they still LSU and I'm still pulling for em.
We have new coaches and many new players.
Sometimes it takes time to gel.
While Im not happy we losing, I'm not berating the team and coaches.
I'll leave that for some of you.

I mean, we're only 9 games in. Should be gelling at any moment...

I agree. I think this team has lost its confidence.

I called this last week. I said this would be a "show me" crowd. They'd be there but waiting for something good to happen. You know, the crowd was pretty excited when we pulled to within 21-14.

However, I think that the fans also lost confidence in this team after Bama, and that led to a nervous energy before the game, or early part of the game.

It's both.

Fans also can't sit there and blame the talent gap like they did with the Bama loss.

LSU is one long pass play away from Jennings to losing to Arky for 3 years in a row.

It's baffling.

LSU should have been running roughshod over a rebuilding program like Arky. These were the years to take advantage of, but we just can't.

Crowd was weak early in the game, even before Arkansas got out ahead.

And yeah, it was kind of loud when we pulled it back to 21-14, but not nearly as loud as I was expecting. The kick return back to midfield probably had something to do with it, though.

Oh, for sure. The fans suffer from the same Alabama "hangover" that we accuse the players of.
