He was hoping Nuss would transfer it had nothing to do with Daniels

He didn't want to sit on the bench this year, so will transfer to another team to ... sit on the bench. He most likely gets the green light to start in '24, but he had the opportunity to do so as a Tiger.

Good question.

Tebow did. McCarron did. But it is becoming very rare.

He’s ready to play, for somebody somewhere

Playing now is more critical for his career than waiting to play at LSU

He really didn’t have a choice if he wanted to stay on track

If you haven't gotten it by now I don't know what to tell you, for a loud minority of the "fans", Daniels is the root cause of every negative thing that befalls the program.

Yeah we only saw him in very limited action this year but he definitely didn't look like someone who ready to play. I'm sure he will get better but both JD and Nuss looked so much better.

So it is about competition. The 5 star couldn't beat out the 4 star for the spot so he leaves. Thats the result of him losing the competition.

Judging by his bowl game performance with real bullets flying, he’s ready to start three years at some place like McNeese.

Then why even come to a school where he knew there was Brennan, knew Nuss was here and knew he wouldn't play right away? And if it about playing now, why demand a redshirt.

If his goal was to play as fast as possible plenty of other schools besides Lsu offered that.

Then he should be better at his position. That’s on him.

I know enough about the game to know he's not ready. I also know any school he transfers to will have competition at the QB spot.

I'm calling it like it is. Nuss beat him out for the spot and looks more ready to play. So Walker is looking for an easier opportunity to be the #2 QB. I dont think hes ready to step in as a big schools #1.

I also don't wish bad will on him. I do wish kids stuck to their commitments more, but I realize those days are over in CFB.

McCarron's final season was 2013. Tebow's was 2009. In terms of college football, that is ancient history
