It's got to be tough to lose a "playoff game", then continue on with the season?

I can't imagine how a staff gets a kid's head in check. College football is wild. You go from Championship contender to missing the playoffs completely in one single game.

Protest For Eight!

The philosophy of this team can't beat any of the playoff teams as it stands today. We don't beat Clemson, Ohio State, Bama, Baylor, Notre Dame on a neutral field this weekend.

If we had a staggering defense, I'd say maybe. That is not the case. No reason to dream of playoffs this season. This team is not made to compete for a national championship.

Competitors get pissed and want to frick shite up after defeat. We will see what kind of heart these guys have this Saturday.

My entire thought process right now is random so forgive me...

I'm not trying to back LSU in to a spot by creating new rules, but the entire system is wild.

Why are schedules set years in advance? Why can't the CFP Committee create schedules for the Power 5 to get these teams vetted before week 8? Match these teams up from Week 1 with legit competition.

Increase playoff participants. Give the hot team a chance. Works in NFL unquestioned. Remember the no one wants to play USC shite from years back?

A big 12 team will be left out, yet any three (OSU, Baylor, OU) could make an interesting matchup in a playoff format.

Wild and about as behind the times as Cam's offense.

Players could protest this shite and get it changed

Bama lost one in 2011 and dominated everyone right through the BCSCG. Just saying.

My sentiments exactly! This team still has a lot to play for and now that they have an "L" on their resume it should help them focus better. Only way to ensure they have a "chance" at the playoff is to win out. One game at a time....

We're one game away from being back in 1st in the West. It's not like we're 6-3.

Aren't we technically tied for 1st?

Is hosting the national title game in 2017. I'd be down for that.

I agree, our defense is no where near what I was hoping for.
