He's got the rest of the season to do just that.

Ridiculous. Wouldn't have mattered who was game planning or calling plays. When you don't have the horses on the o-line, that is what happens.

yep.

Offense sets records. Orgeron states that he lets his coaches coach. Orgeron gets all of the credit for changing the offense.

Offense sucks against Bama. Orgeron is not at fault and needs to hire his own staff. It is unreal.

If we hire Orgeron, within 4 years we are going to be looking for a new coach looking at a team with 4 wins.

Right, and until we get that kind of O-line we will keep losing to Bama and so will most teams that come up against them. Sad to admit, but true nonetheless.

but give him credit when the offense was rolling and not give Ensminger credit. They then turn around and blame OC for the Alabama offensive fiasco but not CEO.

at is pure ignorance. I have multiple reasons why I don't want O as head coach and him being Cajun is not one of them

Exactly. I bet the people that want to keep him can't say them same.

I personally can't blame the coaches too much considering les miles and the prior offensive coordinator were the ones that laid the groundwork and the playbook.

did yall expect 4-5 wideouts and shotgun formations?

I don't understand how people on either side made up their minds 5 weeks ago that they either did or didn't like Orgeron and their mind was made up and nothing could be done about that.

I like O but want to see the season play out. I would like a fisher or petrino, or a guy like P.J. fleck, but if we can't get those guys, RIGHT NOW i'm comfortable with O. but that could change.

I believe we win out. bring in a new OC and OL coach and recruit your arse off. there are lots of worse scenarios.

what I really don't understand are the guys who want to bring in someone who would run a radically different offense. one that could take 3-4 years to fully implement as you have to make such radical changes and recruit to suit.

We had less rushing yards vs Bama than Kentucky.

So you are ok with CEO but not Ensminger even though both has only had one bad game?

They can't say the same. If O was from San Francisco there wouldn't be one person saying he should get the job, not a single one.

Its funny how one guy gets a pass CEO. The OC don't get a pass thought Ensminger.

Most of the rant wants a new OC at the end of the year. Even though both has only had one bad game this year.

Brazos, I call B.S. I know no one, pro or con, that even brings up his Cajun heritage as being a reason to keep him...or fire him. The hate for Coach O, whose love for LSU is widely known, going back to his college days, makes no sense to a rational mind. Not saying he is good HC material or not, but why the hate for him? CLM earned whatever feelings are out there for him during his time here.

let me fix it for you:

Most of the rant wants a new OC at the end of the year. Even though the OC is the reason that we set offensive records in 3 straight games and Ed Orgeron has publicly stated that he "lets his coaches coach."

If we are keeping coaches based on the turnaround, Ensminger should have been the #1 coach to keep on staff.

Wrong... I can pull up a few post and threads for you

but why the hate for him

So telling the truth about his coaching history and him getting a pass when Ensminger does not get a pass is hating on him?

eople have forgotten how the line of scrimmage dictates the whole game.

our offensive line was too slow and soft for alabama's defensive line.
Our offensive line is not worse than Ole Miss(43 points), Arky (30 points), A&M (14 POINTS), UT (10 points)
