It's 11/3, LSU & Bama are 8-0, ranked 5 & 1, & Burrow is in the Heisman race.

If LSU is 8-0 we would have beat 3 top 10 teams. We would be #1.

We have been through this before in 2015.

You have to still hope that the offense is one that is conductive to beating Bama.

Not that I expect it, but I would only be surprised at the last part

Just remember, when you describe the end of a dream, a rhino is supposed to catch the game winning TD pass.

The difference in the OP's scenario is that the quarterback is in the heisman race, not the running back. I'm sure the capability of the offense (no matter the scheme) would be good enough to beat Alabama. Especially since they are replacing their entire secondary this year.

My god. It'd be a ratings war the likes of which we haven't seen seen Mr. Slave and Paris Hilton had that Whoreoff.

I just hope we have the screen pass covered !

11/3/2012 Baton Rouge, Bama #1, LSU #5

With Alabama's hopes of a second straight national title slipping away, McCarron shook off a dismal second half and guided his team right down the field. He read an LSU blitz and flipped a screen pass to T.J. Yeldon, who did the rest on a 28-yard touchdown with 51 seconds remaining that gave the top-ranked Tide a 21-17 victory over No. 5 LSU.

That's the play the honeybadger said was his fault. He said if he had been at LSU that play would have been covered. Said he was screaming at the TV...the flat, the flat....
He liked weed more than LSU.

If Bama is undefeated, they will be 1.

if this scenario happens, my thoughts would look roughly like this:

"Oh shite, given the expectations heading into this season and what the media was saying, holy balls this is amazing..."

I'd be excited and pumped for the game given the amount of hype that would be surrounding it. with that said, I'd be terrified. I remember the 2012 game and how that game felt, the hype, the game itself and the feeling of extreme letdown as Yeldon trotted into the endzone. I was sitting in the student section that night and I know I wasn't the only student crying.

I'd be excited, anxious, nervous, happy, and everything else under the sun. I think my emotions would be all over the place from kickoff to the final whistle.
