Ceasae Sportsbook apparently has Jayden as the favorite as of this morning. Lots of traction for JD at the moment. Anyone who put a decent amount of money on him before the season may be looking at a huge payout. This would be great for LSU and a silver lining considering our defense fricked us this year.

Odds were +1000 two weeks before the season. I put $50 on him to win and almost cashed out at half during the Bama game, glad I was talked out of it.

One thing to remember about Nix is he’s putting up these numbers in a conference where Omar Speights is considered an elite LB.

Time to cheer for Oregon State and Arizona next weekend. If they win then Arizona goes to the Pac 12 championship over Oregon.

Then we have to hope that Penix continues to have average games while JD keeps it going against A&M.

If that happens then JD is a lock. Even if all that doesn't happen then JD stick has a very good shot.

Yeah I think this is right. He needs either a low scoring game or a handful of interceptions / bad game from both.

That’s kind of silly considering I have 2 different tickets on him that are +4000 (made after the Mizzou game) and +2000 (made after the Auburn game).

I never made a bet in my life. I said I was gonna put $100 on Daniels before the season and didn't. If he wins it I'm going to be upppppset with myself. Dont know how much I'd have won ,but hell any winnings is great.

Yes I am biased but if you assume every Heisman voter gets a highlight package for each candidate, say top 10 plays for each player, I don’t see how JD5 does not win. I mean, he just passes the eye test as being special. While it should not count, technically, his 25 yard scamper in OT vs Bama has also got to be in people’s minds. I mean, has Bo Nix don’t anything (yet) to make fans storm the field?

Most of Nix's best plays are check downs or passes where the balls travels less than 10 yards, and the receiver breaks it.

Jayden's plays come in all forms, from good quick decisions that the receivers are able to YAC up, but he also quite a few 30 yard outs, and the placement on his deep balls has been nothing short of spectacular.

Thats just passing. He is also top 25 in the country in rushing, and has many breathtaking rushing plays.

It really baffles my mind that he's not the heavy favorite in the media. His play has been spectacular, and its the best single season performance since Burrow. Thats not hyperbole. Just facts.

This is the key. If Nix doesn’t get an extra game, it will be a big help to Daniels.

If Oregon loses to Oregon State this weekend they don’t play in championship game.

But to Nix’s credit, he was also a successful QB in the SEC early on in his career.

39 TD’s while at Auburn and beat LSU in tiger stadium at night.

Does this help answer your question?

Well his odds preseason were +1100, so your 100 would pay 1100 + your 100 = $1200

I’ve told these story before but I put $500 on LSU to win the CWS prior to the season at +600, and forgot about it. A few weeks after returning from Omaha I was pleasantly surprised. I won $3,000.

For the record I’ve lost a bunch, I’m by no means a great gambler.
