I know I'm setting my up for disappointment but what if Ed pulls this rabbit out of his a**. Between Jamal, Canada, Guice, Aranda, Key, Devin White and Rashard Lawrence this very well could be the longest off season in history.

It could go either way, we'll know for sure after the bowl game.

Maybe the kid actually loves LSU and isn't ready to leave. I've been following this kid for 4 years since I saw him compete in person at the Nike event in Dallas.

At the time everyone thought he was a look for UF. I remember telling my buddy that he was going to be a monster. I've said since day 1 that he looks like a slightly bigger Earl Thomas.

Man it'd be nice to see Jamal in P&G one more year.

this makes no sense what so ever. Also confused as to why a random group of players equates to a long off season

If Adams wants to come back to compete for a championship and earn his degree, I'm all for it. NFL isn't going anywhere

Badass Players + Badass Coaches = High Expecations

Jamal Adams would instantly make us a much, much better defense. He would be able to QB the defense much like Eddie Jackson did for Bama. If Jamal comes back then we have a top 10 team.

It's crazy to think that he would. What player has ever returned with such a high NFL draft projection? And I'm not talking just LSU because that's an "all time" scenario.

Andrew Luck is the only player I can think of

I don't think Jamal should or is coming back. Just answering your question.

Matt Barkley was looking at a top 5 draft pick and came back for his senior season if I'm remembering correctly.

Jake Locker was almost a lock for the #1 pick and came back, was then taken 8th by the Titans year after

I thinks it's the way the season went down the drain after being preseason favorite to win the national championship, the goals wasn't met, and now it's leaving a bad taste in his mouth. It's just the thought of getting LSU back to national prominence. Hell if he does come back, those younger guys would rally around him and be a dominant defense imo.

Well an NFL contract can take care of that bad taste. Just sayin'.
