under the grandstand to wake the fricking dead or what? Seems that anything played from the press box is fine, but when a video is played from that fricking scoreboard video screen, the person who is operating that shite from the tower in the football stadium parking lot wants to hear the audio portion clear over there.

I have no response to your clear, concise question.

He's right. Certain things you could barely hear. Then when a video played you felt the the main speaker was an inch from your ear.

you obviously have not sat in the grandstand area this season. You need not respond.
neither does any of these morons who have no idea what i'm referring to, but feel as though they must post something because they are idiots with a keyboard.

I find the sound system throughout the Box too loud. Especially the speakers above the left and right foul line bleachers. I would like to know what fans in the outfield bleachers think of the sound level at their seats, as there are no speakers there.

We have season tickets in left center, and it's typically low in most cases. Though I have him a hard time, he is right. Some thing are much louder than others. You can barely hear some of the music (not the shitty walk outs song though) but the video board is load. Huge difference in the national anthem volume in outfield compared to grandstand.

Don't you think It would be a major improvement to add speakers in the outfield bleachers rather than deafen fans in the rest of the stadium?

The sound level varies. Some stuff is way too loud in my seats in the grandstand IMO. That Chevron car racing thing for example.

It is way too loud for the videos, and you are right on target with that car race video promotion! You cannot even hear the person sitting next to you when that thing starts playing. I thought maybe there was a new person doing it who just hasn't figured it out yet because it is not too loud all of the time-just sometimes.

We do, but the people at LSU in charge of that sort of thing must not think so, as there are no speakers in the south end of Tiger Stadium, and the blast we get in the south from north scoreboard speakers are just slightly louder than it would be for a person to stand behind the engines of a 757 jet as it's preparing for takeoff.

I've paid attention to what is going on at the times of the high level of sound, and it's when the audio is played by the computers that operate the video board. Anytime video is being played, be it the pregame video, race cars, or whatever, it's way to loud. Anything that originates from Alex Box itself (press box) is at a normal level.

Row 4 Sec 212

The commercials are too loud. But the PA is way too low.

Opening night, we mentioned we could barely hear Franques announce the roster.

It's got nothing on the volume in TS.

it's right up there Mike. OSHA would require ear protection in both Tiger Stadium and Alex Box.
