Probably so, except with tennis courts.

thats awful if true. im holding out hope they will put some type of facade over that 1980s siding but it sure seems like that's what they're going with.

They'll probably atleast do brick on the front or halfway up the walls

That really looks like crap. No wonder why no one good wants to play tennis at LSU.

Nega-tigers on the tennis program now! Here's the finished project. I think it's pretty good.

thanks. it certainly looks better than what they have so far. but it looks like that siding is going to be a huge chunk of the exterior. And who knows how much of it will be along the side. I assume your picture is of the entrance.

I am a little disappointed it won't look like the very first renderings, but I'd imagine TAF had to allocate more funds to building the new dining hall/athletic dorms after the mid-major programs bitched about the original dining hall plans

oh, and that part of the facility is going to just be indoor courts. The facade may not change too much, but it's going to be surrounded by outdoor courts and other amentities such that it won't matter.

they will be using the same stucco company that they used for the south expansion. pretty much a big warehouse with a dressed up from like you'd see on hwy 30 in geismar, industriplex or up and down choctaw

look at the rendering in the post above. you essentially won't notice the bland indoor court facade. Plus the inside of it, the part that really matters, is going to be pretty sweet

I notice it quite easily. And i assume i'm looking at the entrance. If i can easily see it on the entrance imagine what it will look like on the backside.

Usually, the purpose of a facade is to be noticed...

the finished product is going to look fine. the front entrance is really what matters in terms of outward appearance anyway.

I can assure you that with the indoor facility and other extras, these guys will finally be able to recruit as we used to.

Do you even care about the tennis program or you just want something to bitch about? Either answer is fine, I'm just curious.
