I was really there the whole time in 2008. Watched on Saturday at my parents' house.

Not really. There was absolutely nobody there at the end of the Troy game in 08. It was still pretty packed at the end Saturday

Do you know how weather works, baw? It got colder and they had a north wind.

I do know how weather works. I also know that people from Baton Rouge calling something a deep freeze blizzard rarely ever actually means that.

Here is another link. The low that night was 44 degrees
LINK =

There was 0.01 inches of precipitation. To call it a "deep freeze blizzard" is hilarious and inaccurate. It was cold for Baton Rouge

So, if we're up big, you leave.

If we're down big, you leave.

If the weather is too hot, you leave.

If the weather is too cold, you leave.

If there is a stiff dew, you leave.

So, you only stay for perfect weather in a close game that we lead from wire-to-wire?

Good to know.

Was at a wedding for Troy, but I really do think not very many people left early for this one. There were certainly a lot of people saying, "We'll see how this possession goes..." but the game felt competitive again by halftime (as opposed to down 28 in the third quarter in 2008).

What's wrong with that? LSU football is entertainment. If the circumstances are such that the game is no longer entertaining, you should leave.

I would like to add that there was no one there to provide body heat or block the wind... I also wore shorts because it was in the 70s during the day. (which was poor planning on my part)

Also from the link:
Wind NW @ 10 mph
Max wind speed 20 mph
Max gust 31 mph

The wind was very chilly

I stayed and I was back in New Orleans by about 19:45; which wasn't too bad. Do I win twice?

Can you just admit that you're not used to what is actual cold weather because you're from Louisiana and that a game that's 44 degrees is not blizzard conditions? Thanks

What's funny to me is there are LSU that will sit in a duck blind surrounded by water all day long in actual freezing temps but will also say that a football game in the mid 40s is too cold to deal with.
