If some big ten or pac ten players are interested in coming to Baton Rouge right now, maybe to play DT etc, who do they contact?

He's about 75 years old, might not be a terrible idea.

This question will be asked for many years after we are all dead, and the answer will still be "yes"

A great guy & coach. Think it was the Ark game in ‘14 that was supposed to be so cold. It’s all the press could talk about. Sam shows up at practice bear chested walking the sidelines. No Hill for a stepper boys !

Yes, he is still at LSU. Got to know him on a personal basis when I was a student. Coach Nader is an absolute legend and a true asset to the program (despite him being a former Auburn QB, of course).

My son was almost on the 2003 team, so got to know him for a short time. I can pick up the phone today and he opens with, “Hi Bob, great to hear from you. How is Jordy”? After 17 years, he remembers the name of a potential scout team QB & his Dad.

A legend indeed that will be missed when he finally steps down.

Pretty sure he was chopping up watermelons at practice a few weeks ago.

I have know Sam for 35 years. One of the nicest most genuine competent people I have ever known. I never heard Sam say an unkind word about anyone.

He was there with Stoval up to Orgeron.

Funny story. LSU played UK in a highly anticipated basketball game circa 2000. All students seats were full....he kicked me and a friend out of our student seats to make way for visiting recruits Whitworth and Niswanger. He said 'thanks guys' after kicking us out
