Is now the time to bench Deichmann?

Obviously he needs to be replaced at 1st with Jordan.
If you do bench him totally, who DHs?
Side question...anyone else surprised we arent using McKay more? I know he has been wild and inconsistent, but with that talent, I'd keep trotting him out there.

Deichmann is 3 for his last 27. Thats really bad, but when he gets a hit its usually a big one. I would put Bryce at 1st and DH Deichmann so Mainieri can do his matchup thing without ruining the position players or having to kill the DH.

I don't think he should be benched. We don't have another option. But to say it's because of his HRs when he's 3 for his last 27 and he only has 6 on the year, you've lost me.

At this point I'm not sure he should be hitting ahead of Bryce or Reid in the lineup.

Yes on Deichman. No on McKay, kid can't throw strikes right now. Put him in maybe when the game is out of reach.

i lost you because i don't think you take the 2nd biggest power threat out of our lineup of relatively light hitters?

He hasn't been hitting that great lately but everyone goes in a slump every now and then. I think his fielding is messing with hurting his confidence at the plate so DH would be good
