Is Les Playing Jefferson To Help Recruit His Little Brother?

I know his little brother is getting a lot of attention as a SO. Could he be trying not to piss of the little brother, who could be a much better player at his WR position than Jefferson as a QB?

on the flipside, some were bashing Les a few years ago for not playing more freshmen...said it would hurt recruiting

So, Les keeps starting and playing Jefferson despite concrete statistics showing Lee to be the better option for actually creating points for what reason??

he starts and plays Jefferson because they are still afraid that if Lee coughs up a couple of picks his head will turn to mush, like it was at the end of '08. It's clear that they feel the need to coddle both QB's right now.

I agree that it is baffling why JJ continues to split snaps.
I'm just saying that is not the reason. I would love to hear Les give an honest non-convoluted answer to this question, as I am sure 100% of the rest of lsu fans would as well.

You honestly want him to walk up to the mic and say: Quarterback A sucks but we are playing him because we are afraid that QB B regresses and starts throwing pick 6s left and right. We are bringing both along and hedging our bets.

QB A IS TURNING THE BALL OVER EVERY GAME. Most of which lead to opposing tds
QB B is not.

Well, contrary to what the assholes here think, JJ still does some good things. Some games more than others. But regardless, it's hard to make the opponents gameplan for 2 QB's if you are not using 2 QB's.
