He won a national title. That alone puts him in 2nd place for current sec head coaches.

And as far as the big 3 are concerned at LSU that puts him tied for first with PM.

LSU was 1st in scoring in SEC Basketball play

Outside of the final game vs A&M to drop their PPG average down they were 1st all year in the SEC. LINK

Sorry to bring stats and research into the conversation.

Facts prove you wrong
yeah we only finished 3rd in the sec in offensive yards per game
we finished 11th in the country in yards per play( a pure stat that isnt skewed by plays ran)

The above statements are not my opinions. They are facts above lsu's 2015 offense

Last I checked media guide, he owns LSU's #1 thru #4 spots for Scoring Offense ('07, '13, '11 and '06).
You might use this to compare and help answer your question.

You've been here long enough to realize that facts cant get in the way of shitting on Miles.

Since his hire....
no program has beaten more ranked teams
No program has been ranked in the top 25 more weeks
He has the highest win percentage in lsu history.
He has the 7th best win% in sec history
He has the # 1 ooc win % in sec history.
He has 9 top 20 finishes
He has 7 top 15 finishes
He has 6 top 10 seasons

But yeah he isnt in the top 3rd of anything positive.
I hate our ignorant and entitled fan base. Its like you dumbass love in a dream world where Miles' tenure hasnt been the best tenure in lsu history.

I just throw it on the screen and they can accept/ignore as preferred.
I'm fairly indifferent to ignorance, or I guess it's stupidity once facts are known.

Les consistently has productive offenses that put up a lot of points and are able to put opponents away. Not division opponents, or conference opponents, or opponents who have a pulse defensively. But opponents.

Posted in another thread- LSU was top 10 in MOV vs FBS a couple years ago ('05-'14 iirc). Not sure about present standing.

My opinion
No reason Johnny Jones should still be here
Miles is hard headed and will give away a championship game ( in New Orleans vs Alabama) just to prove his point that he was not going to pull his favorite QB
They couldn't get a deal last yr to replace him, total disgrace by Alleva and King
Maineri's job should be on the hot seat. 2009 National Championship and not much else
Add to that returning pitchers have shown no improvement, bats been dead for several yrs. I think the search should begin for a new baseball coach.

Nah. Aside from 2009, LSU has had some CWS appearances. As long as LSU can get to the CWS every few years, that's elite status and LSU will eventually win another.

This is stupid. Miles wanted to win that game more than you did, he simply thought JJ game the best chance. I think he should've put JL in but don't be so retarded that you think he'd throw away a championship just to prove a point to the fans. Or whatever you're trying to say.
The real problem is Les' offenses don't work against Bama, regardless of QB. Les offenses require a ton of NFL talent and experience just to function decently and even then Bama stops it without a problem.

Johnny Jones isn't doing so well. Not much more to say.

Yes. Both Johnny and Paul stink at offense. And defense for that matter.
