i'll start by saying i like JJ and think he should be our starter. I've heard a couple of times this weekend that he was a great downfield passer (Archie Manning and someone else I forget) and while I've thought he was fairly good I wouldn't consider great. In fact I'd put Lee at or above JJ w the long ball. What say ya'll?

He throws a very nice deep ball, just not consistently.

If hunters hadn't shot that duck he threw to RR in the first quarter it might have been completed.

consistently overthown or at the feet of the receivers, if you want to get technical

no. he has a big arm, but there's more to it than that. like touch and timing. and as with everything else, he's wildly inconsistent with those.

Great down field passer. The wind just pushed those balls 20-30 yards wide right/left yesterday.

Georgia Dome must some hardcore AC units.

I like JJ ,too.
The failure to put Lee in near midway thru the 2nd quarter made no sense to me however.

He has a rocket arm. Very bad touch with even worst accuracy. He runs the option pretty well and doesn't turn the ball over much.

I am thinking he has the keys because:

a) They want someone to manage the game so they can pound the rock. He doesn't turn the ball over much.
or
b) He has some pictures of Les Mile fricking a goat.

I say you got no clue to what you are talking about. Maybe you should stick to following McNeese State.

JJ just throws the ball up downfield.

He is not accurate and does not have touch. He just chucks it up there and prays.
