Browndyke
C. Jackson
???

I've seen other good ones, but he looks to be the best.

watching the Florida replay just now, he non-chalantly drilled a 45 yder and acted like it was a walk in the park, no emotion whatsoever.

This guy has to slip into the draft and be drafted.

One of my personal favorites was Colt David. Would probably be highly considered if he hit that one against Arkansas in 08.

We've been blessed with several excellent kickers. ST is an LSU specialty.

Browndyke, Jasper, C Jackson, and David were all very good.

Saurez, Ritchie, and Corbello were slightly disappointing. Saurez had the best leg of any LSU kicker ever. Ritchie had the 2nd best leg...weakened as he got older and his FG range was inconsistent. Corbello was good from the end of 2001 on to '02 but was weak in '00 and most of '01.

He's good for short-range FG, not a long one. Doesn't have an NFL leg.

Being in my 20's I can only think of Colt David. Between the two they have to be among the best kickers to play college. I give the edge to CD though since he's LSU all time leading scorer.

In colts defense, that kick against arky was 62 yards man. He came closer than I thought he would.

We've a few great ones...and I love Jasper.

He's a great FG kicker, but seeing him pick up that ball in stride and run like a RB with it even when there were a number of Florida players going after him was awesome. Most kickers would have totally wimped out in that situation. Not that dude...and he's fast too!

And then at the end, he appeared to be mad that they didn't get the snap off before that last extra point so they could avoid the review booth drama. He's great.

Browndyke

And Jasper tie for 1st my opinion. If I'm not mistaken, Browndyke did not miss a single kick his senior year.
