The few times I've accidentally watched ESPN when it wasn't a sporting event and Booger was talking, I liked it. Can't believe people actively watch that stuff, though.

I like both of them for different reasons. Booger is by far more analytical where Spears just jokes and laughs at stuff.

So you pretty much agreed 100% with me.
Thanks

I like them both, but I think Booger's analysis is better.

Also, the look on his face after they announced that Les was staying was priceless.

Both do a great job and when Spears is on the Ears man show it is a good show. Without Spears Finebaumn the ears man is all Tide

You're exaggerating. A "clown show"? Please.

ATA: Sabanite? No. He's a loyal Tiger.

The dude thinks nick Saban is god just as Paul finenbaum does.
Take your head out of the sand.

That's unless he's done a 180 in past 6 plus months.
That's been about how long since I've tuned in.

I'm just of the opinion one is better at what they both do than the other.

Then why not just say that instead of using strong words like "clown show?"

And no, it's not "common knowledge."

You mean they think the coach who's won 3 national titles in 5 years is the best coach in the country? You don't say!

You know the job Booger and Spears have requires them to be objective, right? And objectively, Saban is the best. I don't think anyone can dispute this. You just want them to be LSU homers, and that's just not going to happen.

homers

Hardly.

This is about which is better at their job.
Obv the reach arounds that spears an finebaum give each other over Alabama does rub some people the wrong way.

Off subject but story about Booger and how he came to LSU. Booger and I were friends in high school and Anthony was real close w/ our Defensive Coor. Booger wanted to go to Arkansas to play ball with his friend Marvin Caston, another great player. LSU offered the Def. Coor a job at LSU and the rest is history. Booger signed later.

Booger lost some of my respect when he came out & said that he felt OJ was innocent He's entitled to his opinion obviously, but it did give me pause. Booger is also very much anti Miles, and while he's entitled to his opinion again, Finebaum used his feelings bout Miles as "proof" that all LSU fans were anti Miles. And Booger let him. On tv, I like them both & just accept that each has different roles & different styles.

Hell no... Marcus is much better. Booger just repeats obvious points over and over in an articulate way. Marcus has way more soul about what he says.

I prefer Spears more. He's exciting, fun, and very passionate. You can see that Marcus truly loves the game. Booger is good too but seems kinda bland to me.
