Is it a safe assumption Fournette won't play in bowl game?

I mean even if he gets back to 90-95%, no reason for him to reinjure himself getting so close to draft preparation time etc. I don't blame him if he shuts it down as far as a college career goes.
In any case, led me to math. If Guice adds another 150 rushing yards which is a safe bet for bowl game, this will lead Guice to needing to surpass Fournette's single season record most likely to pass him up career wise.
He can also become 3rd all time passing up Hill for single season numbers if he gets to 1402. so 153 yards needed.

Since LF7 was on the sidelines laughing and cutting up while LSU was losing, I doubt he tries to play in a meaningless bowl game.

neither one should honestly play, was about to bring up cook. Maybe Fournette wants to go out a winner.

I don't think he should risk it. We're good. Thank him for coming here with inept HC and OC and giving LSU fans something to be proud of.
He single-handedly saved this program from going through this turmoil 3 years ago. CLM probably would have been fired 2 years ago if he hadn't come here.

If LSU goes to Sugar Bowl I believe he plays. Too big a stage in his hometown not to.

That's a big 'if". Don't get me wrong, I would Love it, but no way LSU makes it to the Sugar. And I do agree, if that miracle were to happen, then I could see LF suiting up.

I bet he has some type of procedure on his ankle in the next couple of weeks that will make him miss the bowl. I think was reported a couple of weeks ago he may need surgery. He really shouldn't play in it as he won't be 100% and has nothing to gain.
The kid has been a beast for the team and loves LSU, it wouldn't bother me one bit if missed the bowl game.
