I know it was originally mentioned but I haven't heard anything recently.
Chavis leaving puts us in the "unknown" but there ARE better options out there, we just need to land them.
Haley, however, should perhaps be replaced, regardless.
Especially if it is the difference between getting Orgeron.

We had 19 sacks this year, placing us next to last in the SEC.
Vandy had more sacks.

Yeah, he was hampered with the bullshite from the SEC regarding Valentine, but that's just bad.
We haven't had under 20 sacks since 2000. And We've only been under 30 3 other times in that same 15 year period. Two of those three times were under Haley.

1 more sack in the bama game could've created a much different season (although only more 1 thing going right in that game probably would've meant victory)

If we hire Pendergast I think he wants coach O as his defensive line coach.

While I am not a big Brick fan, the type of defense Chavis ran might have had something to do with the sack total.

The D Line was the most improved unit throughout the season. Who coached them up if it wasn't Haley?

They got destroyed by ND after all that "improvement".

Not many people looked good in the game.

Remember the first month of the season when the tackles would get blown off the line and there was a gap so wide that my handicap grandmother could have walked for 10 + yards? I think taking out DW31 helped alot, but the D-line improved and it is hard for anyone to say otherwise.

That being said, I am not against Haley leaving if we can improve.

Read somewhere he has coached LBs as well. Might just slide him over and get O in that way

Brick isn't shite man.

All of the players he has recruited and coached up entirely by himself have been nothing but busts and underachievers

His first few years he was living on already recruited and coached up players.
