Y'all compare him to Herschel Walker or Bo Jackson

Who's y'all? Almost everyone that follows football for a living has made that comparison. They also throw out Adrian Peterson.

He is simply the first Leonard Fournette.

There will come a day when others are compared to him.

Remember these days, lads.

It's been extremely obvious that he's a rare physical talent since he stepped on the St Aug campus as a 9th grader.

I think the OP was serious. Look man, there is no doubt that this offensive line is a big reason for his success. They are opening up holes and he hits them. What makes fournette so special is his rare combo of elite power and speed. He has the ability to make DBs (who are normally the best athletes on the field) either miss, or his just rolls over them. Fournette is a player you have to get to at the line of scrimmage, or he's a serious threat to take it to the house every time. OL gets credit for taking away that first level, but Fournette is a man among boys on that football field.

Wrong former Oklahoma running back to compare LF to--

should of course be Adrian Peterson.

Those who followed LF's recruiting may recall that some reports rated him as the best high school RB since Peterson came out of Palestine, Texas.

The o line is doing a great job.

But watch the highlights and look at what he does in the open field.

He punishes defenders. That's all him not the line.

you're right. He breaks tackles like a slightly-above-average running back

Agree. The O line attributes to his success but he is just an animal against LBs and secondary.

Probably really fricking wells till.

Watch the fricking game. Good blocking but he is still running over, around and past linemen, linebackers, and safeties. He i making plays not just running through air.

First, his success was far from "sudden". People called him the second coming of Adrian Peterson in HIGH SCHOOL.

Second, the dude broke records last year as a frosh thanks to superb running and kick returning (no OL on kick returns).

Lastly, yeah LSU's OL is damn good. But they aren't the reason for his yards after first contact. They aren't the ones who make DBs want to miss tackles.

I get that you're trying to give the OL props. But this is just an asinine post.

If Fournette was a product of the offensive line then Williams would produce similarly on his carries. Silly argument.
