Will 10 in a row plus a 50 point loss be enough to get Johnny out the door? I doubt it, but a man can dream.

I don't get it? What purpose would a mid-season firing do in hoops. Is there an assistant on staff who can press a magic button to get better play from this group at this point?
Jones will be gone soon enough after the season ends. To think otherwise is stupid.
Why this incessant chant for a head to roll right now?

I only want it to be "my team" if we're good. Duh.

I'm only excited that it's one more L in the JJ coffin. Another game closer to ending this miserable season.

Same with me. I watched the first 1/2 of the first televised game. Haven't watched since other then by accident. The accidental watching was about what I expected, lob passes being intercepted, 5 guys standing around on offense & terrible defense.

Baseball season!!!

I think Alleva is waiting until the end of the year because he doesn't want to have another "interim" HC situation, just in case Livingston, or whoever else is interim, goes on a winning streak to end the year.

The only thing a firing would do now would be to ensure that CJJ will no longer be the coach at LSU!

A late season surprise combined with a push by Dale (who still backs CJJ) and Temple could allow our awful AD to keep CJJ for another year or two. That is my main worry about waiting to fire him. It would look better from a national PR front to not fire two coaches in mid season in one school year.

According to the media guide our largest margin of defeat ever is 49 vs ucla in 1969

Will they break it?

i have faith coach jones will have the team ready to play. he has a great track record and should have an effective gameplan prepared. as long as the players do their job and the fans show up we will win.

Really sad you don't believe in coach jones. He has a proven track record at lsu and north Texas. Plus it's the moral thing to support him. He's one of our own.

Kentucky has been in a little slump so they will be looking to get right vs us and that spells blowout. 110-58 UK rolls.

I really feel a loss in the range of 15-20 points could get Jones fired quicker than a 100 point loss. In the latter scenario, a case could be made for a lack of talent and factors not under the coach's control
