Peterson hasn't done much this season to inspire a ton of confidence.

I agree about Peterson, but Aggie was saving their Ace, Mizzou burned theirs. Hopefully Peterson can get us past the 5th, If so I like our chances

Missouri is expected to counter with freshman southpaw TJ Sikkema (8-1, 2.28 ERA) who’s been awfully impressive. In 75 innings of work, he’s allowed only 19 earned runs on 44 hits with 79 strikeouts and 16 walks while holding opponents to a .169 batting average.

I think we need to win 2 to be a top 8 seed....JMO

Well, your opinion is almost certainly wrong. I think we'll win at least 2 anyway.

On an unrelated note 2008, I like sig quote. Looks like Jed needs to do some estate planning and get his affairs in order.

Beating Mizzou won't do it for me, but taking a blue pill might get me to an 8.

Even if we lose today, we have a good chance of going at least 2-2 with our rotation that is still to come.

I don't see how we fall out of the National Seed list. And, good thing is, we are not fighting for our life for it. I want this team to play loose and 'straight up' this SECT. No need to go all out or extend pitchers.

Edit: By all out I mean from a coaching/strategy/Paul-too-uptight-in-the-dugout perspective.

I think we've probably already got it, but I think at least 1 win here would leave no doubt.
