And I'm the moron

All of our skill position players should play defense as well because most were probably awesome at it in highschool.
Spencer Ware should also be our second string QB, he was a beast in high school.
Yes you are. You either have no clue about his recruiting, or you're being intellectually dishonest. he was not recruited to play FB.

True but there is a reason he is now playing FB. Running over someone or blocking someone is alot different then getting off blocks and tackling someone.

This is FBS college ball not HS where most o-lineman will not play a down at any level.

I was thinking he should play safety

With his wheels there has to be a defensive set where he can be put on the field.

you do realize he was recruited as a DE right? He was moved to FB for a reason..

What? He played D-line, not O-line.

Which is why he said "running over someone or blocking someone (fullback) is alot different (than) getting off blocks and tackling someone (defensive line.)"

The post still makes no sense.

If someone here would have made a "...he should play fullback" comment during Copeland's recruitment, this same cast of characters would be laughing it up.

Well that wouldn't because JC played some fullback in high school, but I get your point

I think his point was that he came as a DT and probably wasn't as impressive there as some of the other DTs on the team. Or at least not as impressive as he is at FB

Verne Lundquist: "Did you know Gary, that Derek Dooley wanted Copeland to go play nose tackle at Tennessee. Here he is at LSU and they've got all that defensive talent and they've got a nose tackle playing fullback."

I like it.

We'll put him at cornerback. We could use another one of those.

With Copeland at CB, and Rivers and Trindon Holliday (on loan from the Houston Texans) at DE, we'd be unstoppable!!

Championship!

Don't forget Shep at QB, Mickey Johnson at center, and Spencer Ware at LB!

his high school highlight tape moron. watch it. the guy is an absolute animal on defense. he should play in place of downs. downs is ineffective at best

He started at DL and the coaches obviously had a reason to find a different position for him. You can't be serious.

Why do people keep saying this? It's not at all like Trindon to end.
