I know Iowa is not a powerhouse, however some of their fans were talking trash on Beckham's Instagram and claimed thay had an elite linebacker core. If this is true and LSU can't run the ball well. How does LSU do if Anthony Jennings is forced to pass most of the game?

judging from the very small sample size, I would say he will do quite well

There aren't many teams in the country that can prevent LSU from running the football. Iowa is not one of them. They have a solid defense, but they aren't going to shutdown Hill from running the ball up the middle. They aren't fast enough to prevent Magee from getting to the edge. We have two NFL WRs and a QB that has shown potential. Even if LSU has to throw, Jennings will be well prepared to do so taking all bowl reps with the first team and Cam Cameron on staff.

Iowa has the best trio of linebackers in the country.

But Landry is going to be matched up with Iowa's nickle corner all game while OBJ occupies the number 1 corner and a safety over the top...think about that for a minute. Landry might catch 12 passes.

I dont think passing will be a problem. I dont think coach cam is gonna force jenning to make tough throws. We use alot of timing routes on the outsides that are release before wr makes his cut. Those routes are almost unstoppable if the timing is there (good news is jennings has a month to work on his timing with his wrs). I think we will run 70% , the rest will be those routes (outs, curls and hitches), throw in some rb slip screens and aj running himself.

With Jennings being a run threat, at least one of the super-human linebackers will have to keep an eye on the quarterback, which leaves two to fill gaps. In one of the gaps one of our fullbacks will be crashing through with the ball right behind.

Jennings adds a +1 to the offensive set, which forces the middle defense to play -1. I think we will be ok.

In 1 drive he attempted passes to landry, boone, dural, gordon and hill. Considering he as the best combination of reciever in the country he should do fine.

i agree. with one of the linebackers being a spy on jennings we can get easy rushing yards. the read option could kill them. to bad we don't do it.
