Iowa fans were awesome

The friendly atmosphere created by the great people of Iowa was a refreshing change from the nastiness of the SEC. I was warmed by their very vocal support of Alfred Blue in his final college game - especially when the intensity of the game was at its peak in the 4th quarter. Also, I noticed the lady playfully responding to Jennings' Marietta hand signs with her own Iowa hand signs. Our trashy fans could learn a thing or 2 about class from the charming and pleasant folks in Iowa.

I'm glad you recognized the one-fingered Iowa hand signal, it's called the Hawk-I, a lot of people misinterpret it and think it's a different kind of bird

I got on the elevator in the parking garage at the Marriott with 6 Hawkeyes, and took a brutal tongue lashing from 2 liquored up farm lookin' chicks ranting about fakin' Freak. I got off luckily, and politely said" enjoy your 23hr drive back to the fricking north pole!" Otherwise, their fans were really nice to chat with and extremely knowledgeable.
