If Les settled with the program before the Texas A&M game, I suspect part of the deal would be to let Cam be interim for it. But a deal is highly unlikely.

Would the interim coach be this year's version of Hal Hunter, who is the only undefeated coach in LSU history-- of course, that's just for one game?
If a current assistant, Frank Wilson or Ed Orgeron would be much better choices than Cameron.

We would be able to see once and for all how "handcuffed" our OC's have been. All of a sudden he opens the "secret playbook" and LSU's offensive clicks against A&m and whoever they play in a bowl game.

I agree with Orgeron as interim HC and maybe keeps him from taking off to Syracuse or another head coaching job. With a great hire at OC why wouldn't Orgeron be a great head coach choice at LSU?
