Is Gundy a better coach than Miles?

He has taken that program to a much higher level since CLM left.

He has had 2 good seasons out of 9. I have no idea if Les could have had 2 good seasons if he had stayed longer.

I live at a 7 and it doesnt really change. Could we be better? Of course. Could Miles be a better coach? Sure. But we've had a lot of success over his tenure and I can't imagine any coach leaving their current job that would be better. Quite frankly I also don't want to have a staff have to rebuild relationships in Louisiana.

6. While play-calling has improved (he's still stubborn as hell as in no adjustments), he seems incapable of getting a complete game out of his players.

A solid 2. The man is the face of LSU and it is not a pretty face.
He can't put 6 words together to make a complete sentence as evidenced by many of his nonsensical comments to sideline interviewers. He is an embarrassment to LSU and my home state.

It is not possible to embarrass Louisiana.

For all of those with the low ratings, and especially for those who may want him gone, please give me a name of a "solid" replacement? I'm good with Coach Miles (for now). I truly believe he is capable of leading our team to another championship before his tenure at LSU is over.

Les could be the #2 coach in the country but it wouldn't be good enough for the guys that never lived through ArcHallmanardo.

I agree with you . Anything can happen in 20 years.is there one person who posts on these boards that thinks someone is going to offer miles enough to leave the gravy train ? It will be another Bobby Bowden situation . Just hang around and watch

9-4 would be a disappointment, yes

Not sure what you are getting at..?

Can good coaches not have bad seasons?

Was miles thought of as a great coach prior to coming to LSU? 28-21 record at Ok. St. says no.

Is that where some of you are at? You're willing to kick to the curb a coach who has the highest winning percentage in the history of the program in hopes of something better? Hope?

Honestly...there's no reason to continue this argument.
