Doesn't sound true, but kind of funny if the only thing he said was "I'm going to LSU" and then left town. Now, if an LSU coach did that, I'd be pretty displeased with the whole thing.

Oh, and from the comments at the bottom of the linked website, the UF fans view Addazio almost like we view Crowton

I don't know if we want him at OC. I mean, he can't be any worse than Crowton with playcalling, but I would assume that he would run a spread system while our current personal are more suited for pro-style. And hasn't everyone been complaining about conflicting offensive philosophy between Miles and Crowton?

I want to see the WRs get better before Billy G is rewarded. They have been okay this year but not elite like we thought them to be. Although maybe making Billy G the OC would get rid of the option routes the WRs run.

Please NOOOO!!! We need to run a traditional offensive set w/ a sprinkling of Wild-Tiger.

How can you possibly (and fairly) judge our receivers when we have had the QB play that you have seen thus far?

you can't - but you have to say our WRs have dropped quite a few passes that would have helped out a struggling QB as well

They do have a number of drops but I tend to agree with Chicken, the QB play has been far too erratic to really judge their play

true sir chicken, Crowton is gone after this year and it will be interesting to say the least what Les will do. Will he give Billy G his chance or will he search for a proven commodity such as Norm Chow and be the cause of another sticky not episode.

Agreed. I have to laugh at people that defend our WR play by placing all the blame on JJ. Our WRs have been terrible (as a whole). I have never seen more drops per attempt than this season. But they are always JJ's fault. Ya right. Some people have such blind hatred for JJ that they will blame everything on him no matter what.

I'm waiting for the comment about JJ being involved in the 9/11 tragedy. Sheesh!

Given the back story, you would think that Gonzales had a legitimate beef with Meyer.

However, after seeing Gonzales operate as LSU's "passing coordinator" for the first 5 months, I doubt if Urb is having second thoughts.

UF's offense is sputtering. But LSU's is a black hole that makes you question your existence to watch it, and that's only when your brain starts working again after the nausea subsides.

You mean he on the inside of that offense and coached up Percy Harvin, yet doesn't have a clue about RS.

To be honest, despite the few depravity drops that have been blown way out of proportion on this board, the receivers have looked good -- but if that's all BG is what's the BFD?

I have a feeling Miles brought in BG to replace GC but gave him one last shot (that he already blew, IMO)

Billy G will be the OC next year, book it.

I will concede that there have been some inaccurate passes to the WRs this year, and those can be excuses. But come on, you know there have been some passes that should have been caught so far this year. I'm not talking about stats, I'm talking about execution.

Some drops can be excused, but to say our WRs play has been as good as 2006-2009 is not accuarate. I don't want to call out any one WR, and I think their play was a lot better vs Tennessee, but they are not immune to criticism.
