Dude it would make absolutely zero sense for him to stay past next season. I meant 'fool' in the sense that you would have to be foolish to believe the kid would pass on MILLIONS of dollars just because he loves les and LSU so much. He came to LSU to start, get nationally recognized, and be drafted in the first round. He will be set for life because he's a great NFL prospect, and he has a family to support.

I get that...but why say that he's here for another 2 years? Someone said he's pandering to his audience but why even mention it, that's my point. Common sense says he goes, but maybe he intends to stay all 4...

Regardless, Guice is a stud and would be able to step in after he does leave

He can't really declare his decision to go pro at this point. Too soon.

And yes, guice will be a more than suitable replacement.

He would leave after this year if he could. Facing nine man fronts again with no QB development and a stubborn coach you can kiss the Heisman bye bye next year also.

People said the same about faulk as well

Similar situation where faulk had a child and could have left and been a top 2 or 3 round pick (obvious fournette is a top 10) but he came back to get his degree. Cant live off of what ifs. I think Leonard wants a championship and he wants to rewrite LSU history books and has a good chance to do so in 4 years

If it were me....#hegone
But maybe Leonard stays

For a top ten RB to return would be the dumbest risk ever. Almost every coach with common sense would tell him to not even consider it

I wouldn't disagree

But injuries don't always hold you back look at gurley

Leonard could be iconic on LSU history. Numbers that would never be touched and wouldn't lose out on any money.

Hell he could get injured next year just as easy

Really depends on what Leonard wants. I wouldn't blame him one bit for leaving next year

If LSU has a bad season next year all we will hear is that LF7 won't return unless Miles is there. Then he leaves anyways after a crappy bowl game.

Not sure how this thread about fournette went to miles but OK I'll bite

Take a serious look at our schedule next year.... I see 8-10 wins pretty easy, you always have your toss ups but anything I say under 9,wins would be a disappointment. We have a lot returning a lot more than most our competition

I understand a lot don't like Les I say there are like 121 other Fbs teams that don't have Les, he is our coach if you are an LSU fan, he wins...a lot.....consistently deal with it
