Interesting non-melt stat: 7 out of last 13 national champions had an LSU coach

Jimbo: 1 as HC (1 as assist)
Miles: 1

10 out of the last 13 had an SEC coach
12 out of the last 26 teams to play for the title were from the SEC

Put being: LSU has a pretty good name attached to it to draw a nice coach going forward

If Jimbo's in 2013 counts, then should Mack Brown's in 2005 count since he was previously an QB coach in 1982?

No it didn't......4 of the had an Alabama coach and one of them had florida state coach.........only two had an LSU coach.
