I know the men that guarantee the Coaches contracts make a lot of calls on who is hired/fired on that level. If you have enough money to donate they will listen to you, I know that much.

Financial gifts, Executive Board memberships, scholarship sponsor, volunteer in student based organizations and Alumni activities to name a few. Given your level of passion for the program i have no doubt you do the same. Why do you disdain striving for excellence so? You make it sound like a dirty word.

If you or anyone else call or visit they will listen. Doesnt guarantee action. The big donors at LSU are there if they are needed to make coaching changes, not to dictate them.

You don't think they could make changes I they wanted to?

Agree but in the age of social media and media contacts as well as agents it almost always gets out.

How much do we need to give for the financial gifts/sponsorships? How many organizations should we volunteer for? Help us help you to enact change.

Have I made striving for excellence sound bad?

Missouri has been to two straight SEC championship games. Why are they not the 2nd best SEC program right now? Never said if fans demand titles they would come. Just the Coach and AD.

No Sir, economics is not my game. Doctorate in biochemistry. Would be curious as to what the multiplier effect is for winning a NC versus say winning the Cotton Bowl? I have no idea and look forward to hearing your answer.

All I can offer is anecdotal evidence, but I worked at Tiger District when we won it all in 2007. Let's put it like this, we couldn't keep the championship shirts on the shelves they were being bought so fast.

Think they could make the situation easier to make a change but not cause a change to happen.

Do you know that they don't demand it, or are you going by what they say in public?

As much as you can. Just do it. There are many ways to "support" the school and athletic programs without agreeing 1000% blindly with things. Do you give to your colleges Alumni Association? Are you a TAF member? Do you give to the Foundation? Giving 5$ or 50,000$ to each means the same: you are supporting LSU!!

Know a few who would like to demand it but understand the dynamics of doing so. What do those that you know say about their influence at that level?

I don't ask them those questions. Just know they can get things done if they really want it done.

I'm privileged enough to know how it works and a few players in it, but have no means of doing anything.

The usual on a decision that big. Political ramifications, wanting to be on the right side of things, Continued status with the program. Usual stuff.

Agreed and I see your point. I wish nothing more than to have 5 national championships in the last ten years trust me. Bama is doing something that is remarkable but also been given a helping hand which no one can deny. We will make a run the next 2 to 3 years each year. Let those cards play out and then we can truly see Miles legacy. But hey maybe I'll see you in Navarre I'll be the one sporting the Music City bowl tee shirt hahahahahahaha

Miles has put together the Best coaching staff in the country, of course it took the biggest payroll also. There's talent, there's coaching, BUT THE ONLY WAY LSU WINS ANOTHER NC IS IF MILES STAYS HOME ON GAME DAY

This program is in the hunt for jack squat right now because LM cannot develop a QB. If the AD thinks this year proves that LSU is in the hunt he is one the wrong drugs...

But this isn't 15+ years ago, this is 2014 almost 2015 and Bama is getting better while we are getting worse.

I'd say wrong on both accounts. Unless 'Bama's skilled juniors return, it is highly likely they'll be slightly worse to start next season than they were to start this one. Even if only a couple of LSU's skilled draft-eligible's return, it is highly likely the team will be far better to start next season than they were for this one. There wasn't much of a gap between the two teams this season, as evidenced by their game in November, there will be less, possibly zero gap next season, IMO.
